Brandon Parva

The white, marble memorial is placed on the wall in All Saints, Brandon Parva, Norfolk. It lists the names of seven men who fought and died in the First World War along with the inscription:

Memorial to the soldiers of Brandon Parva who made the supreme sacrifice during the Great War 1914 - 1918.

 

George R. Allen

George was born in 1888 and died on 25 October 1916 at the Battle of the Somme.

William was born in 1898 and died of his wounds on 9 August 1918. He now rests at the Niederzwehren Cemetery in Germany.

Russel was born on 22 August 1892 and died on 12 October 1916 aged 24. He now rests at Wandsworth Cemetery in England.

Cecil was born on 1 December 1881 and was reported missing on 29th April 1915 after the Battle of Neuve Chapelle.

William Pitchers

William was born in 1898 and died in Egypt on 24 August 1915 aged 17. He now rests in the Alexandria Military and War Memorial Cemetery in Egypt.
